    Abstract

The purpose of this study is to investigate the effects of peer interaction, creativity and home environment on children 's language development. For this, we used the 5th year data of the Korea Children 's Panel of the Child - Rearing Policy Institute. The subjects were 1,018 infants and parents aged between 49 and 55 months. The collected data were analyzed by a stepwise regression analysis to find out the correlation and influence of the measurement variables. The results showed that language development showed a significant correlation with play interaction, peer interaction, play break, creativity, fluency, originality, openness and home environment. Second, as a result of stepwise regression analysis, children 's influence on verbal language development was influenced by play interaction, diversity, fluency, and physical environment order.
